St. Bernards got a new nun. Her name was Sister Sue. She was outgoing, played guitar and sang with gusto. Dad thought maybe she was confused and belonged in a Baptist church because she sang so wonderfully. Dad was faithful to his Catholic roots, but "Even God knows, we are terrible at singing. I mean REALLY bad at it!" Sister Sue was very bubbly, kind and laughed alot. Dad noticed one mass that when she caught his eye she would always wink at him a couple times. After a few services, Dad winked back. He was very pleased with himself....that is until the priest let Dad know it was "not a wink Bill,she has a neurological condition. she can't control it."
