Sears took our colour tv to the shop because the repairman could not fix it at the house. They loaned us a 12" black and white. Weeks passed and the multiple times they returned the tv to us, it still was not fixed. More weeks passed and on his lunchbreak one day, Dad double parked outside the front door of Sears then marched to the tv's on display. Finding a large colour tv (this one with a remote) , Dad calmly put the remote in his pocket, unplugged the tv, wrapped the cord, hoisted it up and headed for the door. A salesman came dancing around Dad asking what he was doing with the tv. Still walking, Dad calmly answered he was taking it home. The manager showed up and also did a little dance around Dad's long strides. Again Dad answered. "I'm taking it home. You have my tv, now I have yours. Would you get the door?" Sears never did ask for that old black and white back.
