The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael Connors Carlson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The Man

Almost everyday  through every season I would see Mike walking up the front walk to my house. , his head down , a fast pace ( with a different hat on ) like he was on a mission .  We would exchange a greeting consisting of a few explicatives toward each other and then sit and talk. Mike would talk to me about his day , what was going right or what was going wrong. But every time time we spoke the subject always turned to family and how proud he was of of his clan. At some point during our many visits and talks he referred to each and every person who was family to him and spoke of how proud he was of them.
Mike didn't have much in the way of material things, but gave to others by helping with projects around the house or bringing over a jar of homemade spaghetti sauce and many many other thoughtful ways.
I truly considered Mike my brother. We disagreed like brothers , ( some times very strongly disagreed) we shared like brothers, we helped each other like brothers , we loved like brothers.
I miss you, you  @#$%*  %^&* &^%$  You’re the man MIKE.
