Mike was my English teacher at McQuaid in my senior year, 1968. Much more memorable than any class were the hours and hours outside the classroom that MIke shared his guidance and friendship with a group of us students. He was the most influential teacher I had in high school. He supported me in getting into the college of my choice. After graduation he wrote to me of some of his travels. We lost touch but I have never forgotten him. Even as a very young teacher he was a special guy. My condolences to his family.
