Marion Cox
My Uncle Myron has been a special person in our family from my earliest memories. He came home from Korea and taught me to count in Japanese, and he would do the same with his four children later on. At the time I was ten and my uncle was 24. My sisters and brothers remember a week or two each summer vacation spent at the Lobster Festival, swimming and visiting our relatives in the Camden, Warren, Rockland, Thomaston area. Our Uncle Myron and his family added so much fun and spirit to our summer vacations. So many memories, so precious the time we spent with him. He is in our hearts and memories, and I hope to do justice to his principles by becoming a better person because of his unique example. He was that special.
