Dear Mary Jane, David, and Peter, We were all shocked and grief-stricken when we learned of Sarah's death. Words cannot express how deeply we sympathize at your family's loss for the outstanding young woman Sarah had become and for what her future lay in store for her. We had been thinking of your family recently when we discovered while shopping at Sea Glass Jewelry Studio in Ogunquit in August that some of your jewelry, Mary Jane, was prominently displayed. That had been a happy piece of news. On top of Sarah's tragic death the country learned of the accidental death of Jim Laurita of Hope Elephants. We can only guess that Sarah had volunteered at Hope Elephants and had become very attached to its mission. So in her memory and for the benefit of Mr. Laurita's family we feel it still appropriate to make a donation to Hope Elephants. Again, our hearts are broken for your family's loss and suffering. We trust that you will all do your best to take care of one another. Love, Dick, Diane, and Colleen

There are just no words to describe our sadness for your loss, for everyone who knew Sarah, and simply for the fact that she was taken from us far too soon. She was such a bright light and a beautiful human being. We will never forget her and she will be in our hearts forever..
