The first time I met Bernard

The first time i met Bernard i was 19. We were at Lou Stockfords cottage on a Blue Fin picnic (scuba diving club). Someone introduced Bernard to me and he stood up and there was his hat on the stool he had been sitting on.What a sense of humor he had. I remember the story he told about leaving Canada, after they had been on vacation,he was asked if he had anything to declare. He said no and started on his way, put on the brakes and backed up. He said "I do have something to declare" I declare I had a good time! So glad I had a chance to know Bernard.
