Condolence: What an inspiration Leona remains to RDNA, and any involved with community nursing today. In April I had the pleasure of sharing breakfast with her. The conversation was frank, with her infectious wit and joy following me through the day and beyond. Her gifts of friendship, compassion and tenacity continue to strengthen and be with each of us. Our warmest thoughts extend to Leona’s family, friends and her close circle of nurses.

Condolence: Leona was a wonderful lady who gave so much to her community. She was my Girl Scout leader, my Theta Rho advisor, and my best friend's mother. She was family. My heart goes out to Nancy, Susan, Nathan, Sylvia, Martha, and all of the family. She will be sorely missed.

Condolence: I often saw Leona as I practiced an instrument at the church. She always greated my dog and me and we had a little chat.Leona was an important person in the Aldersgate Church Community.
She covered the office one morning a week. She worked at the church suppers they held. A couple of days before she died, she was carrying groceries into the kitchen at the church. She was always busy. She lived a fulfilled life and then stepped through the final door.
