Mary Esther  Matson (Larrabee)
ROCKLAND – Mary E. Larrabee Matson, 75, died peacefully with her family at her side, Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Windward Gardens in Camden.

Born in Rockland, August 12, 1942, she was the daughter of Elmer Hobson and Augustus Winnefred Larrabee.
Mary worked at Port Clyde Canning, the Tradewinds, Wayfarer and Hannaford, before retiring.

She enjoyed going to lawn sales and for rides with her husband on the weekends. She also took great pleasure in completing paint-by-numbers and word searches.

Mary is survived by her husband Walter, her children, Sally McLellan and her husband David, Deb Allen, Malcolm Emery and his companion Linda, Richard Emery, Timothy Matson; her grandchildren, Adam Emery, Cathie Harrington and her companion Richard Levensaler, Jason Merrill, Tracy Condon and her husband Codey, Brandon Emery, Richard Emery, Jr., Kyle Emery, Shaine Emery, Taylor Emery; her great-grandchildren, Saydee, Zoey, Jozie, Elyzah and Joshua. She was predeceased by her parents, Winnefred and Elmer Larrabee; her siblings, Elmer Larrabee, Helen Benner, Richard Larrabee; she is also survived by her sisters, Fran Miller and Nancy Maddocks and her brother Robert Larrabee.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland, where a celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Those who wish may make memorial donations to Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County, P.O.
