Condolences

Condolence From: David Kellogg
Condolence: To Merrilee, Susanna, and Katrina,

Tod was always friendly, kind, instructive and fun in the exchanges we shared through Tigers East Alpines East, but clearly he was more than that.

I am grateful to have known Tod, and send my support, condolences and faith to you as you find your way through the process of celebrating his life and navigating the maze of loss.

Please contact me if I may be of any assistance or support.

With Affection,

David Kellogg

Condolence: Condolences: I knew Tod since May when he approached me with the possibility of a family connection between us. His letters were so friendly, open, and giving that I felt an instant bond with him. The real gift that came out of our many letters back and forth was his warmth and sensitivity about his family and mine. My deepest condolences go out to his family and all who had the good fortune of knowing him.

Condolence: I was saddened to read of Mr. Brown's passing. It's easy to forget how many years pass by. He was my earth science teacher at Arlington in the early '80s and I was lucky enough to have him teach me physics at Dutchess CC as well. He was a really nice guy- affable, easy to talk to, very calm demeanor yet still a good teacher, even in the face of disruptive students. I'm happy to hear he went on to do many more wonderful things, and followed his heart to Maine- a beautiful state if there ever was one. He will be missed by many.

Condolence: Merrilee,
Celia and I are very sorry to hear of Tod's passing. We have fond memories of starting out in teaching. You were a caring colleague at AJHS and Tod a highly respected teacher when I was at the high school.

Condolence: I know I didn't know Tod for very long, but he was that kind of man. You just had to have the privilege of being in his gentle, intuitive presence once to know he was someone who would remain in your thoughts forever. He will be missed by so many of us

Condolence: Tod was superb to work with when he served on the school board. We shared a vision for what the school district, its staff, its students, and its community could be and his dedication to this provided me as Director of Instruction with absolute support. I also came to consider Tod a friend. I will miss our conversations immensely. He has left a wonderful legacy. My deepest condolences to all who loved him.

Condolence: Thinking this morning of what a wonderful man Tod was. He was kind and patient and one of Ted's best friends. I remember going out with both of them in the cold and dark looking for comets in LaGrangeville and at the Netherwood School, where my daughter and her friend disappeared in the dark. My Ted was mad at them, but Tod wasn't.
My sincere condolences to you Merrilee, Susanna, and Katrina. Love, Ruth
