Dear Suzie and Alan,

Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your mother.  We have fond memories of the shared times and good meals while living on “the alley”.  Marge displayed her love of animals by the care she gave to Whitaker.  She spent many dinner hours trying to coax him down from the roof for his evening meal.  Also Marge was concerned that he would attempt to cross the Boulevard wanting to return to his first home.  When George retired, they returned to their roots in the northeast.  We missed them.  When Nancy and I vacationed in New England, our first priority was to visit them wherever they were living to relive the happy memories of life on “the alley”.
