Condolence: Gerritt and I were very saddened to hear about the sudden death of Janet. She will be missed by so many. She always had a smile, and a positive attitude. She always talked about her grandchildren, and how proud she was of them.

Condolence: Though Janet worked at South School for a short time, she was an important part of our school family and will be missed by every adult and child. She arrived and left every day with a smile. We will surely miss her.
Sincere condolences to her family.

Condolence From: Bill and Cindy Anderson
Condolence: To the Godin Family
Even though we have known all of you for only a short time, your warm welcome of us to Spruce Head Island has made us feel like we belong and are truly home when we are there. Our drive down Lobster Cove Road will never be the same without Janet's smile and friendly wave. We will continue to wave, even though she won't be sitting on her deck in the sun enjoying a book. We will miss the stories of growing up on the Island and camping out with the girls in the boathouse.

Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.

Thinking of you, Bill and Cindy

Condolence From: Emilie Gledhill Mazzeo
Condolence: To the Godin family, I am so very sorry for your loss. You were the first family we met when we moved here 26 years ago. Janet was so welcoming and funny and a bit crazy. Her wit was amazing and her smile was contagious. I liked her right away. I wish there was some magic that could help you all get through this but there isn't. Just hold on to each and know how much she loved you all. Funny story. Met your Mom in the dentist office several years ago. I was filling out forms and started laughing. One question was: "What would you like to be called?" I wrote Mrs. Sean Connery. Janet looked at me and said, "I put Mrs. Clint Eastwood." She will be missed. Stay strong. With much love, Emilie Gledhill Mazzeo

Condolence From: Melody
Condolence: Oh Mom, where do I begin? You prepared us for so many things in life, but living without you was not one of them. Our hearts are broken but know we are leaning on each other for strength. We have been surrounded by a community of love, support and stories of you. You touched so many lives in so many ways Mom, and it is plain to see how many people truly loved you. You will forever be in my heart and always be the one behind my next witty remark. We were never ones for goodbyes so I will say, " 'til I see you again."
I love you, Mom ❤
