ROCKLAND – Jeffrey ‘Jeff’ ‘Jigger’ Johnson, 48, found peace after a long journey, Friday, August 28, 2015.
Born in Rockland, November 13, 1966 he was the son of Herman, Jr. and Rosalie K. Johnson. Jeff attended St. George and Thomaston Schools.
For most of his life Jeff has worked in the construction industry. He was a giver, with a huge heart and would do just about anything for anyone in need of help. He was a true handy-man and could do anything he put his mind to.
Jeff is survived by his loving mother, Rosalie K. Johnson of Camden; his children, Jacob and Lily Johnson both of Rockland; his siblings, Wayne Thorndike of South Thomaston, Kelly Thorndike of Owls Head, Donna Winslow of Lincolnville, Jeanne Johnson of Rockland; one grandson; and many other extended family members.
Jeff’s family has chosen to remember his life privately. They are being assisted by Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.
