Condolence From: Allan Young
Condolence: I remember Jimmy as a fun loving kid at Thomaston High. He was two years behind me in school. He chummed around with Tommy Littlefield and took art lessons together in Rockland. Last I saw of him was in the '90's he had rented a cottage at Pleasant Point in Cushing, where my mother(Hazel Carroll) had her camp. He was a great guy and certainly will be greatly missed by many. My prayers go out to his family. My sister Mildred Melgard told me about his passing. I live in Greenwood,Indiana

Condolence: My most sincere condolences to all of Jimmy's family some I know from many years go. Jimmy was my oldest friend, my partner in "crime" during our school days and even after I Joined the Army. I will surely miss him but know he has earned his place in Heaven. Condolence: My sincere condolence to ALL of Jimmies family. He and I were good friends in our younger years. After Leaving Thomaston in 1961 we lost contact with each other. What a Great surprise to see him again at a lunchen with other fellow classmates at the Thomaston Café just a couple of years ago. He had not lost his sense of humor. We had a very nice short time together talking. about the many years gone by.
Our World needs more people like Jimmy. God bless you my friend. You will be missed.

Condolence: Daren, Tammy, Rebecca, and Kristi,
We are so sorry for your loss. We have many fond memories of working with Jimmy at the Courier Gazette. I,(Ed) also have fond memories of hanging out with you Daren at your Dad's house in Rockland as a kid. Jimmy could always make us laugh and as we all know, laughter is the best medicine. Sue & I have run into Jimmy & Tammy a few times over the past year at different churches and he always welcomed us with his big smile. We will surely miss him very much. The world is a better place because of him. Our thought's and prayers go out to all of Jim's family. Sincerely Ed & Suzanne Myers

Condolence: So sad to hear about the loss of such a joyful spirit. My 90 year old father still talks about how on that incredibly hot and humid Saturday of Lobster Festival in 1975, (after you and I had been selling Courier books at the ferry terminal), we arrived at the island and you tore to the float and immediately dove in! Not my only journey with you Jim; babysitting for your children so many years ago and then working with you in the Courier bindery in 1975. Such an amazing man. Prayers for the family; thinking of you Tammy and Kristi.
