Obituary for George Leo Heino Jr.

George Leo  Heino Jr.
CUSHING - George L. Heino, Jr., 47, died unexpectedly at his home here Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
Born in Rockland, December 28, 1966, he was the son of George L. Sr., and Barbara Feltis Heino. He was educated in local schools.

George worked at Rockland Ford and Shepard Motors. Most recently he worked as a delivery driver with Knox Brothers Auto Parts.

George’s favorite pastime was detailing cars. He also enjoyed driving dump trucks. A devoted New England Patriots fan, he loved watching Sunday afternoon football, and as well, was a devotee of the band ‘Kiss’.
George loved his pet cockatiel “Allen”, who has been a member of the Heino family more than 15 years. George was the only person Allen did not bite.

Pre-deceased by his father in 2002, his mother in May of this year, and an infant sister Dorothy Marie; George is survived by his companion of 10 years, Rachael M. Carter; his daughter Kaylee Heino, both of Cushing; a son Dominic Heino of Detroit; a brother Paul Heino and his wife Inez of Thomaston; several aunts and uncles including Margaret Archer of Thomaston and Arnold Heino of Rockland; several cousins, including Rhonda Smith, Eddie Archer both of Cushing, Billy Archer of Thomaston, Dean Feltis of Warren, and Roger Feltis of Friendship; as well his best friend Wayne Carter of Warren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 21st, at West Rockport Cemetery on Park Street. The Reverend Wayne Sawyer will officiate.
