Russell Charles Burns

Russell Charles Burns, 75, passed away at home on Friday, August 28, 2026.
He was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on January 8, 1951 and graduated from Bedford High School.
Russell spent his career as a Sheet Metal Union worker in the city of Boston. He spent most of his life at his farmhouse in Appleton, Maine where he enjoyed the peaceful country lifestyle and sailing in Camden Harbor. In recent years, he resided in Rockland, where he made many friends and acquaintances.
Russell is survived by his son, Shane Burns and his wife Deborah of Appleton; his daughter Buffy Ludwick of Rockport; and his granddaughter Jade Ludwick of Searsmont.
Russell's family has chosen to remember and honor his life privately.
