Memorial Stationery

Memorial Stationary

Memorial stationery is a way of bringing a personal touch to a loved one’s celebration of life. Each collection includes a personalized register/memory book, memorial folders, laminated obituary bookmarks, and acknowledgement cards. Collections may be purchased as a package or as separate pieces. Whether a family desires a simple design or something more elaborate, we offer many styles to fit individual tastes.

Each memory book is personalized to reflect your family and loved one. Memory books offer a unique opportunity that will never be presented again, providing future generations with a permanent record of those who cared and supported the family.

Memorial cards or “programs” offer a token of remembrance for each person in attendance at a service. Completely customizable, a favorite verse, poem, photo or quote may be included.

With eight laminated bookmarks included in each collection, families are given a lasting memento to remember a life well lived. We offer many designs to fit the different interest of the individuals we serve. Additional bookmarks are available at a nominal fee.

Memorial DVD's

Our families have the opportunity to create a truly unique and personalized memorial to their loved one. We can create a customized 8 to 10 minute Memorial DVD to help celebrate their life, and then share this memorial at the viewing, funeral service, or family gathering. It makes a wonderful keepsake for many family and friends to view and then recall their favorite stories.

Families provide us with anywhere from 30 - 50 photos to be played during the visitation and/or service. Favorite songs can also be incorporated into each tribute upon request. DVD's vary in length depending upon the number of photos used.

Custom Portraits

Personalizing a funeral is made simple with a custom portrait.

A dramatic 16" X 20" custom portrait is an elegant, easy, and inexpensive way to personalize a funeral. A professional designer takes a scanned photo of your loved one and combines it with the theme and style you choose to create a unique and personal lasting tribute. Over 50 exclusive background designs are available. Portraits are printed on archival canvas and showcased in a quality frame of your choice. 24" X 36" Tribute Portraits and 3' X 6' Tribute Banners are also available offering even greater personalization.

Veterans Memorial Tiles

The Midcoast Area Veterans Memorial, located at American Legion Post #1 in Rockland, is dedicated to all Veterans and all Veterans families from all wars and conflicts. The Memorial is an outdoor wall of laser-etched black granite tiles. It is paved and handicapped accessible. New tiles are installed by Memorial Day and Veterans Day each year.

All veterans who have honorably served our country are eligible for a tile. A digitized photo of your choice may be etched into a tile along with your veteran's name, rank, home town, location of service, as well as a short caption.

Applications for purchasing a tile are available at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home or you may order online at www.getetched.com/midcoastveteranswall . All funds raised are handled by the Finance Director of the City of Rockland. Fifty percent of the cost of the tiles is used to provide maintenance and upkeep of the Memorial, while the remainder of the funds goes toward the production of each tile.
