Louis A.  Quinn

WARREN - Louis A. Quinn, 70, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 17, 2010, at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport.
Born in Lubec, February 11, 1940, he was the son of Almon F. and Ethel Cox Quinn.
He was educated in Downeast schools, and after moving to Massachusetts, graduated high school in Boston.
In earlier years, he worked as a mechanic at various garages and services stations throughout the United States. For more than 23 years, he worked at Sears Automotive Centers, retiring from the Newington, New Hampshire, Sears location in 1993.
Louis loved building and remodeling his homes, was a devoted "Elvis Fan" and enjoyed antique automobiles. More than anything he loved his Poodles, "Junior", "Pepe" and "Lucky".
Pre-deceased by one brother, Carroll Quinn, May 6, 2006, he is survived by two sons, Almon L. Quinn and his wife Shauna of Rockland, Brian Quinn of Haverhill, MA, his fiancée Eva A. Benner of Warren, his fiancée's children, John Benner and his wife Debby of San Antonio, Becky Ramsdell and her husband Andrew of Baileyville, April Wentworth and her husband Joe of Franklin, NH, Ellen Gibson of Bangor; his grandchildren, Samantha Quinn and her companion Justin Hills, Ryan Quinn and his companion Cyrena Turner, Ashley Leva, Alison Wellman; his fiancée's grandchildren, Joey Wentworth and his wife Carolyn, Robert Wentworth and his fiancée Katie Reim, Robert Benner and his wife Jesse, Colby Ryan, Michelle Takach, Chris Takach, Ashley Ramsdell, Emily Ramsdell, Kyla Ramsdell, Zachary Benner, Lilly Benner; eight great-granddchildren, one uncle Bruce Quinn and his wife Margaret of Perry; a niece Angela Crispi and her husband David; and a nephew Lee Quinn and his wife Lori-Ann.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 21, 2010, at the Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend Wayne Sawyer will officiate. A committal service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the South Gouldsboro Cemetery, Rt. 186, South Gouldsboro, ME.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, One Main Street, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086-1240.
