Condolences & Tributes

We encourage you to share any memorable photos or stories about Cherie. All tributes placed on and purchased through this memorial website will remain on in perpetuity for future generations.

We are very sad to learn of Cherie's passing. She was a very special friend to us both and to our daughter Heather. We will always remember her laughter, her terrific and fun personality and her constant kindness. We were fortunate to have her in our lives.

Colossians Ch.2; V5 Though I am absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in Spirit.

Her spirit and willingness to help will always be remembered.
She was the sliver lining in a dark cloud.
You could plan on her trying to lighten things up with her clowning around. She is Sorely Missed.

Keep the Faith;

Joline

Dear Kip and family. I am so, so sad to learn of Cherie's passing. For all my years at Outward Bound, Cherie was always a bright, bright light and spirit to all. She was a hard worker but more, a smiling face, a cheerful, up beat presence to all of the staff. This is such a loss to your family, but also to our whole community. Cherie will always have a fond place in my heart and a big presence in my fond memories of our times together throughout the 90's. Rest in Peace, Dear Cherie.
My love to all of you,
Joan

Dear Cherie;
The town will not be the same without you, your energy your kindness your secretarial skills and knowledge will not be surpassed. Words cannot express the sadness of your unexpected passing.

To the family;

In the words of The Psalmist Ch 6 VR 7,8,9

My eyes are consumed with grief, the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping, the Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord Will Receive my Prayers.

I pray for you each passing day and so may God lighten your heavily burdened souls.

With Loving Thoughts of You;

My heart is crushed for my brother and his family. I loved Cherie as a sister not an in-law. My heart and prayers are with you all through this. God be with you and bless you until we meet her again, walking the streets of gold. I love you all.

I remember the time when Chris was a baby and Cherie worked. I babysat and Kippy thought Cherie was the best cook in the world, (and she was) but work took a lot of time and Cherie told me not to tell Kip. But she bought frozen bread dough and made "homemade" yeast bread. I don't know to this day if he ever found out. She was a great cook and I can't wait to see her in heaven.
