Obituary for Scott William Huber

HOPE – Scott William Huber, 17, left this world, Tuesday, September 18, 2018.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, August 3, 2001, Scott was the son of William Huber and Tina Dufault Huber.
Scott was the most caring and compassionate kid. He had so much drive and determination. When his mind was set on something, he wouldn't allow himself to stop until it was done. He had little patience for those who didn't share his same passion and commitment to their goals.

Scott was a leader, never a follower. At the end of every Sunday he'd already have his next weekend planned out. Be it fishing, hunting, kayaking, or ice fishing, he'd have the entire family up at the break of dawn, dropping the same spiel: "Get up, it's already 6 AM! We were supposed to be out there already!" He was so loud and boisterous, always with a commanding tone in his voice.

Scott never backed down from a challenge, not in all his years. He did so well in school, striving with the utmost determination to make his family proud. Scott was always willing to help anyone he possibly could, for nothing in return. He was always so happy and strong-headed and loved his family, friends, and pets immensely.

For the last four years, Scott worked at a blueberry farm each summer, earning money to pay for school supplies and anything else he could possibly need. This last year he worked hard enough to buy himself his first vehicle.

Scott was incredibly passionate about hunting. He aspired to become a game warden and was considering moving to Alaska after high school. Scott and his father's girlfriend, Cathie, took rifle and archery safety courses. Along with his father, they also took courses to get their trappers' licenses.

Scott always had his trail camera set up in the woods behind his home. Every day after school he would truck on out there to retrieve the SD card, excited as can be to check if he caught any pictures of wildlife overnight. Scott spent every minute he could spare in the woods, exploring, hunting for deer antlers, and collecting wild mushrooms. Whatever else he was looking for out there, only God knows.

Until we meet again buddy,
Your loving brother,
- Jeff
