How saddened I am to just learn of Michael's passing. He was a pleasure to know and work with. He asked and I agreed to speak at educational programs that he organized to benefit the bar as a whole. His works in the legal community are an inspiration to all.

Dear JoAnne,

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Michael’s death. He was so loved and admired by his colleagues and served as a mentor and role model to so many of us. Most importantly, he was a really great guy and he will surely be missed.

Michael: you played a critical role in my life and I am ever grateful. We often talked about aging and laughed with melancholy about the passage of time. I will miss you but I will never forget you.
