ROCKLAND – Ruby Evelyn Benner Rawley, 83 went to heaven, Friday, June 29, 2018 with her family by her side. Born in Camden May 8, 1935, she was the daughter of Rosa Lillian Fogg and William Edward Benner. She was raised in Camden with her sisters Annie, Florence, and Lillian.

Ruby married Alfred Edward Rawley on August 3, 1953 in Camden.

Ruby worked at Goodwill, Walmart and Spotless Cleaners in Camden with her daughter, Linda. She always enjoyed going to lawn sales with her son William, and especially holding her own lawn sale with her son every September on Broadway. She loved to spend time at the “seashore” searching for and finding sea glass, interesting shells, and old clay marbles, some of which she gave away or used to create artistic pieces. She gave to everyone; family, friends, animals and even strangers.

Predeceased by her husband Alfred and grandson Timothy Pinkham, Jr., Ruby is survived by her daughter, Linda and son-in-law Timothy Pinkham of Camden and her son William W. Rawley of Rockland.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for Ruby’s wonderful care to the staff of Sussman House, and to her physicians, Dr. Reynolds and Dr. Michalakes.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
