Condolence: Yesterday I sent a message to you all but am not certain I told you why I didn't attend the wake or service for Cass. We have been in North Carolina tending to Topher's sons for him. You should know I would have been there were I at home.
Your mother was a fine person and I know she is missed. She was a wealth of information regarding many things. She and I would have lengthy and interesting conversations. Sometimes I would have to say to her that it was lunchtime and I had to get off the phone. The routine was that she would ask what was for lunch and I would reply "...tuna sandwiches...want to join me?" Most of the time she would say,"Sure, I'll be right there!" Usually, she had to stop at the Town Office when she chaired the Planning Board.
We enjoyed each other's company. I have kept her in my prayers and you all too. She was a good and kind lady. It was a pleasure knowing her.
