So sorry to hear of Brendan’s passing. I was fortunate to coach Brendan in the 2016 Lobster Bowl. Just a great, great guy. I am saddened to hear this but rest assured your son made a lasting impression on me. He was a team first player who won us all over with his enthusiasm and wit. I am sorry and may we all help you in some way during this difficult time.

Wes, I can’t imagine it. I won’t pretend to think that my words will help. I’m sorry for everything and I’m hear for you. If there’s a single thing I can do please let me know. We’ve all come from a pretty cool family. We stand on the shoulders of giants. I wish we all were closer, like the old days. And the old Lashs.... I’ve never been through anything close to as painful as what you’re up against and I’m no preacher, but one verse that has brought me back from half way to helI a couple of times is this. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Brendan Lash, of whom I knew a few of them, and worked with some of them. Special sympathy goes out to Wendy Lash, mother of Brendan, because I know what it is like and how heartbreaking it is to lose a child.

So sorry for the loss of your son Wesley and family. My heart just breaks for all of you. My son went to High School with Brendan and hits me hard how precious life is. Know I'm here thinking of you all. Take care. Lorie Mank
