Condolence: Dear Aunt Ruth, Although Uncle Jim is my Godfather and my Aunt Betty was my Godmother, I always considered you a "bonus" Godmother. I will always remember the parties we had at Grandma's house and the special bond that you had with my parents. The most wonderful surprise for me this year was watching my parents Honeymoon movie to Niagara Falls and seeing that you were there at the same time, and enjoyed each others' company without coordinating your trips! You always surprised me with the most beautiful gifts & treasures for my birthdays and Christmas when I was young. One year you gave me a "real" Skipper Doll that I still have, a hand made dress in the current fashion when I was in High School and many, many other niceties. I will always remember the sleepovers I had with Ruth Anne and Cathy, and the many pool parties and chicken dinners we had together, and later on the elegant meals that we had in your beautiful dining room on Pitts Ave. You always encouraged my music on the piano and at church on the organ which meant so much to me, and you were especially kind to Kimberly and me after my divorce. I remember you coming to the many shows that I was the music director for and the family get-togethers over the years. I am grateful for the trips that Ken & I have made to Maine and the opportunity we had to see you and Uncle Jim the last few years. I will cherish these memories forever and miss you very much. I hope you are "partying" with Poppy, Grandma, my Dad, Aunt Jane and the rest of the angels that have gone before us. Rest well Aunt Ruth. I love you.

Condolence: So sorry to hear about Aunt Ruth. She was a special person in our lives. We had a similar background and we also shared our name. I loved hearing all of their traveling stories. I could tell that their church was so important in their lives. She was always baking for some event. When she visited Pittsburgh we got to sample those baked goods. Love to Uncle Jim and family.

Condolence: I have so many fond memories of visiting Aunt Ruthie when I was a child. It was always so warm and welcoming there. She was so happy to see my siblings and me. Her smile could light up the room. We had great times, swimming in the pool and hanging out with my cousins. She will be truly missed. Rest in peace.

Condolence: We were sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. I (Betty) was just thinking of her the other day. Christ Church, Totowa is gone. We had a deconsecration service before it was torn down.

Sadness all around.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
