Condolence From: Charm Clare and family
Condolence: Dear Mark, Brian and families,
My deepest condolences to you on the loss of your father. I will forever be thankful for having had him in my life all those years. He was a wonderful Grandfather to me and I will really miss him. He was very kind, funny and generous. I remember him singing "Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy. Skidelly-divey-doo wouldn't you!" Looking forward to seeing him again one day in Heaven. Love Charm

Condolence: Aubrey was my neighbor. In apartment living parlance: "We shared a wall". I don't think Aubrey quite understood why I was taking a year of "visits" to set up my retirement lair. His curiosity would rise to the forefront when our paths would cross upon my arrival from work in Boston, London or even Istanbul for the weekend. When I told him I wanted the battlefield ready for my July retirement date, then he got the picture. I'm a story-teller; surely Colonel Messing with so colorful a history as a son of America would have great stories to share with me...once I pulled them out of him in true Maine fashion....one word at a time. I met his two sons; fine men and proud of their father's accomplishments in a long life. The gods are to be blamed for Aubrey leaving our corner of iconic Knox Mill too soon. Or, maybe I'm to be blamed for coming too late to the party. I'll miss Aubrey. I liked him. I'll miss his stories. Aubrey was a great part-time neighbor!

Condolence: Dear Mark and Brian, I am saddened to have learned of your dad's passing.

I knew him only a little, yet I was always astonished at his educational and career accomplishments. He ended up doing pretty well for a high school dropout.

I didn't know he had left Yorktown and I hope being closer to family was happiness for all.

All my best wishes to all of you.
