My design career was jump started by Mr Stalcup in his art class at Lenape (class of 1999). His warmth and gentle kindness was abundant in his classroom filled with artwork hanging on every available wall, ceiling, and crevice. He taught us how to draw caricatures and even asked to keep the one I drew of him! I will continue to remember him fondly and pass on my condolences.

My heart is officially broken. Not only because of the loss but because I just found out and couldn’t pay my respect to a true, life-changing hero of mine and his family. There’s no combination of words that can possibly describe that man’s impact on my life, goals, and most importantly, my character. I sent him a message when I was still on Facebook a few years ago. But I hope he knew how I felt and what I love about him… based on my actions above and beyond words.

Ellen, I want to let you know that even though I only worked with you a short time at Wiley, I will never forget the kindness you showed me back then when I was in a time of need . I think of you often . I didn't know your brother but heard you talk of him. I'm sure he was as special and good hearted as you. I am so sorry for the loss of your brother and may God Heal you and your family during this incredibly difficult time . Love you allison

I am deeply saddened by your loss.
Mr. Stalcup was my art teacher at CHHSE.
He was the nicest teacher. When I think of my classes at East, my time in Mr. Stalcup's
Art room is remembered fondly.(class of 1970) He is remembered with fondness by many students.
My prayers are with the family at this time of sadness.

Nancy, Chris & Ryan,

Pat Esemplare here, I was so sorry to hear the news about Archie. He was a GREAT man who made a difference in so many lives, including a young coach getting his feet wet at Rowan College. My memories of working with him at Rowan are some of my favorite anywhere.

Sincerely,
Pat

So sorry for your loss, Archie was a wealth of knowledge. We spent many days on the sidelines in Rockland together, and everyday he had another story. Thank you for letting me be part of Archie's story line, he will be missed by this coach.
