UNION - Maryann H. Mitchell, age 82, died with peace, dignity and an abundance of love and care at Sussman House in Rockport, on January 22, 2018 from colon cancer.

She is loved and survived by her husband of 60 years Archie E. Mitchell of Union; daughters and sons-in-law Diane & Robert Purkey of Camden, Morgan Mitchell & Bert Forster of Liberty, Margaret Mitchell and Joe Linde of Manasquan, NJ; grandchildren, Connor, Stephen, Ian, Mary, Mitchell, Thomas, Peter; and great-granddaughter Iris; along with very special friends, Kathy Blake, Betty Hittmeier, Darlene Starrett and Chris Sutton.

The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks and will be forever grateful to all the staff at Sussman House. Their care, kindness, love and respect for life and death will be remembered by all of us…thank you.

Maryann requested no funeral or memorial service, rather her family and friends remember her alive, healthy and productive.
