I only knew of Mr. Knowles from Shaw's but I always enjoyed saying hello and asking how he was doing. He was a kind man and helpful and I am so sorry for your family's loss.

To the Knowles Family, I worked with Granville for many years at Shaw's. He was one of the hardest workers I know. Always ready to share a story and lend hand, he was a joy to be around. Take care.

Dear Barbara and family. We were saddened to hear of Granvilles passing. He was a special man, who was loved by many. My favorite Granville story was the day I was en route to Pen Bay for a CT scan to rule out an aneurism. We had a mva in front of mic mac and my husband had to stay on scene. He was frantic! Granville was there and without hesitation, offered to bring me to the hospital. That's just the way he was. Union just lost one of its finest. May he rest in eternal peace.

Dear Knowles family, We were so sorry to read of Granville's passing. We are long time shoppers of Shaw's and always looked forward to meeting up and say hello to Granville! I will miss waving to him as he sits in his car on his break, always with a big smile on his face! Shaw's has lost a great one!! Our sincere condolences!!

I will miss him when I go to Shaw's. He was a very nice man.

I am so sorry to hear of Granville's passing, my condolences to Barbara and the rest of the family. While I didn't know him until he was living here in the MidCoast and working at Shaw's, I felt I'd known him all my life. He was a wonderful man.
