Condolence From: E. Towson
Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear this. Though I only spoke with her a couple of times at IGMA, while buying some of her beautiful mini blankets, I will miss her warm and graceful presence at the shows.

Condolence: I recently retired as a Physical Therapist in the Loudoun County Public schools. Barbara and I worked together for a few years at Loudoun Valley High School. She truly had a heart for her students. I remember her always being positive and helpful. I pray for strength and peace for you during this time. God Bless, Diana Larson God is our refuge and strength. Psalm 46:1a

Condolence: My heart goes out to all of you. I met Barb at China Lake where we often were at camp together. My mom, Evelyn Hale ran the camping program. I remember Barb and her family from those long ago days. I recently reconnected with Barb due to an interest in miniatures. Praying for the family. I know it is hard to lose someone you care so much about. Love to all of you and may God's grace be with you.

Condolence: Hi Bill, it is always hard to watch a loved one suffer, and Barb was very loved. It saddened my heart to hear she lost the fight, but she battled for a long time. I remember first meeting Barb at Guild school, were I will admit she scared me a little. She seemed so stern. I soon learnt differently and came to appreciate that she was a quiet person with a wicked sense of humour. AND ( I know , grammar) was she talented. So clever with a needle. So all my love , from the underside or is that the upside down side of the world. Love Elizabeth, Sydney, Australia 💕

Condolence: I will always have very fond memories of Barb and all of her work with the special education students at Loudoun Valley High School. She and another teacher coordinated and taught a very innovative class on arts and crafts. I wish the class could have continued for more years because it helped promote so many valuable skills. Barb was one of those rare teachers that really knew the importance of creative pursuits to help one recover and rehabilitate from any of life's challenges. Many blessings to the family through this time of grief.

Condolence: Dear Bill, I am so sad to hear of Barbara's passing. I enjoyed visiting your booth at every miniatures show and marveled at the talent that the two of your shared with the miniatures community. I have a few things that will always remind me of Barbara. My favorite is a ticking mattress filled with pine balsam. She showed me how to make it and it is a treasure that reminds me of the Maine woods. Prayers and comfort, Mary Yulo

Condolence: I am very sad to hear of your loss. I worked with Barb at Loudoun Valley H.S. for a few years, and we were "roommates" in a special ed classroom. She was a very caring and kind person, and she will definitely be missed.
