Hi Bill, it is always hard to watch a loved one suffer, and Barb was very loved. It saddened my heart to hear she lost the fight, but she battled for a long time. I remember first meeting Barb at Guild school, were I will admit she scared me a little. She seemed so stern. I soon learnt differently and came to appreciate that she was a quiet person with a wicked sense of humour. AND ( I know , grammar) was she talented. So clever with a needle.
