Obituary for Jarrod Bennett Criscoe

Print
CAMDEN - Jarrod Bennett Criscoe was born in Austin Texas on May 14,1983. He lived a beautiful life filled with family, friends and music. Those that knew Jarrod were fortunate enough to experience his loving heart, his high pitch laugh and his passion for music. Jarrod taught himself to play the guitar at an early age and added the harmonica not long after. The many songs he wrote were those he had still lived to sing about with heart and soul as his backdrop. Camping, hiking, riding motorcycles, snowboarding and anything else that included adventure were places his free spirit would lead him often. Jarrod recently moved to Camden Maine where he took a job in Camden Harbor at an upscale restaurant Natalie's. There he quickly became recognized for crafting beverages and new friendships. A new love for sailing and the sea transpired in Camden.

Throughout Jarrod's life others admired his work. Anything Jarrod touched became gold. He had a true talent for craftsmanship in all that he encountered. A favorite uncle he was. His nieces and nephews would jump joyously when they found out Uncle Jarrod was soon going to visit. His spirit will live on through all of us in sunsets, his music, grilling and forgiving others. Jarrod's life was ended too soon in a motorcycle accident. He will be missed deeply by so many. Keep him close by giving to someone less fortunate with an exchange of a smile and a funny laugh.

Jarrod is proceeded in death by his grandparents Sylvia Criscoe, Melvin and Eleanor Berns, and his aunt Emily Allen.

Jarrod is survived by his grandfather, James B. Criscoe Sr.; mother, Judy Criscoe and father, James Criscoe Jr.; girlfriend, Lianne McCluskey; sister Cory Harrison and her husband Dominic; sister Dolly Ann Guevara and her husband Vidal and daughters April, Kate and Macy Guevara and sons Hudson and Harrison Keen; brother Jonas Criscoe and his wife Zoe Miller and son Ezra Criscoe; brother Barrett Criscoe and his wife Carly and son Cash Criscoe, brother Jonathan Criscoe and partner Tim Shannon. Jarrod also leaves behind numerous aunts, cousins and close friends.
