Mrs Burkett and family,

My father was Kip's uncle Harry Richards. I barely remember Kip as I am part of Harry's second family; he was an adult at that time. I am sorry for your time of grieving; Kip sounds like a wonderful man who is sorely missed; his life story presents as one of giving to others - except for the cookies, maybe.. I have recently begun going through very old photos of my dad's and have some that I believe Kip is in with his mom, aunts, uncle, grandmother, and cousins. If these are something you would like to have, I'm happy to send them along to you by email. I pray that you and your family will find comfort in Kip's memories.

Many blessings and love to you and the family, Lorraine. Carolyn and I loved and respected you and Kip. You were always so good to us who were in a courtship period. I hope you will forgive us for being so distant through the years. Especially with. our Granddaughter Alane. We didn't mean for it to happen that way, but it did. I hope and pray that God will bless your family and Kip in Heaven. He was a GOOD guy.

Lorraine, Steve and Donna, we are so sorry for your loss and hope fond memories and the loving thoughts of others bring you and your family some peace and comfort.

As the Principal of my high school, a strong community leader and a respected friend of my parents Mr. Burkett had a deep and positive influence on our lives. We are so grateful for his presence and guidance.

Cliff Burkett was a shining example of what a school administrator should be;he was an outstanding principal for years at Fort Kent Community High School. His attempts to see that the FKCHS soccer team was treated fairly by downstate officials will long be remembered by the players and coach. In addition,his fairness,respect,friendliness and sense of humor will not soon be forgotten. To my old bowling teammate--RIP C.B.
