Hello Mrs. Burkett and family.
Our sincere condolences to all of you , as you grieve your husband's death, but commemorate the life he lived. I would love to hear how you celebrated your 65th anniversary this year in "a special and wonderful way." Both of you were extra special to me--Sharon--as I babysat your children when you lived on School Street in Washburn. He was also in Rotary Club, where as an employee of the Coffee Shop, I waited on the Rotarians.
Mr. Burkett was the principal during our high school years, and he was my United States History teacher my junior year. Excellent teacher and principal, who cared about his students.
Blessings to all of you, as you gather with family and friends to share so many memories that will certainly be comforting to you in the days ahead.
