CAMDEN - Elizabeth Putansu, 92, died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Windward Gardens in Camden.
Born at home in Bridgewater, December 2, 1924, she was the daughter of Ray and Helen (Burns) Parks.

She was a graduate of Bridgewater Classical Academy, class of 1942 and Augusta General Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at both Knox County General Hospital and Pen-Bay Medical Center.

Predeceased by her husband Albert, two sisters, and a brother; she is survived by her sons, Dennis Putansu and his wife Arlene, Rodney Putansu and his wife Sharon; four grandchildren, Amy, Davin, Todd, and Adam Putansu; as well as three great-grand-children and many nieces and nephews.

Betty enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, watching jeopardy, and the Boston Red Sox.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Windward Gardens and Beacon Hospice for the care and compassion shown during her long stay.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
