ROCKLAND – David W. Allen, 51, died in early August, while doing what he loved, bicycling on a scenic country road. Born in Rockland, David attended local schools and lived here all his life. He also attended the University of Maine where he majored in Art.
For the past several years, David resided at the Rankin Center.
David is survived by his siblings, Skip Allen and his wife Alana of Thomaston, Beverly Brickett and her husband Leland of Manchester, Susan Parlin and her husband Mike of Palmyra, as well as nieces and nephews. David will be sadly missed.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Achorn Cemetery, Old County Road, Rockland. Pastor Donald Woodman will officiate.
