Condolence: I was so surprised and very sad to read the news this morning, of Wayne's passing. I didn't personally get to know this wonderful man until these past few months, and yet I found that our families have touched in so many different ways for many years. For a brief time he and my Dad shared the room with at Quarry Hill. I could see that Wayne was the kind of man who could immediately light up a room, as I knew he had always done in his restaurant. In only minutes he and his family made us feel comfortable and comforted, as if long time friends. We shared memories and stories of how our families had touched over the years, and it was comforting because we were concerned about how our father would feel with a roommate. It was the perfect match for us. It was such a pleasure meet and greet each time we were there to see Dad. Over the years that kindness and contagious energy that he and his family brought and shared with this community has touched so many. I am so grateful that I had the chance to know him, and I am sure that so many in the community who have loved him, have been profoundly changed by his joy of life. I send my heartfelt condolences.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I love having you all in my life so much. So many memories over the years. This world is a better place because he was in it. So many stories from people I met over the years when I would recommend the restaurant to them. they would say " oh I've been there, I loved the restaurant, the food was good, and some stories of them meeting you guys. Me and my family will miss him so much.

Condolence: I only got to know Wayne in the last few months of his life, but his love for people and appreciation of life were obvious from our first meeting. I will be praying for Carla and the whole family as you learn to live without the laughs and love of a wonderful man.

There are no words to adequately express how saddened I am for all of you during this painful time. Shawna talks about her family so often that, over the years, it's as if I've come to know all of you as individuals and as a close and loving family. In that love of each other, may you find support and strength.
