Charles Burton Doughty
VINALHAVEN – Charles B. Doughty, 84, life-long Vinalhaven resident, died peacefully, Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Sussman House in Rockport.

A graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, Mr. Doughty spent his career as an Engineer for the Maine State Ferry Service aboard the Vinalhaven Boats.

Mr. Doughty’s family has chosen to remember his life privately. Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.
