ROCKLAND — Miriam V. Widdecombe, 90, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Jan. 23, 2017. She was born in Little Deer Isle Dec. 3, 1926, to Frederick and Myrtle Billings.

She moved to Rockland at an early age and married Albert Widdecombe. They had three children, Richard Widdecombe, Karen Brown and Pamela Widdecombe.

She was predeceased by her husband, who died in 1992.

She had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her very much.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Achorn Cemetery. The Reverend David English will officiate.
