THOMASTON – Seth A. Richardson, 60, passed away following a sudden illness, Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.

Born August 22, 1956 in Laconia, New Hampshire, he was the son of Allan H., Jr. and Joy K Richardson.

Seth grew up in Bedford, New Hampshire attending elementary school there. He later attended The Derryfield School where he graduated with the class of 1974.

Seth loved the outdoors and spent his early working years on the schooners out of Camden Harbor in Maine. He also spent several years as a chef in some of the fine restaurants in Camden. At the time of his death Seth was employed as a finish carpenter for Back Cove Yachts.

Predeceased by his mother, Joy K. Richardson in 1989, Seth leaves behind his father and step-mother, Allan H., Jr. and Evelyn Richardson, of East Washington, NH; his brother Dan Richardson of Manchester, NH; two nephews Scott Richardson of Manchester, NH, Michael Richardson and his wife Crystal of Dover, NH; as well as a niece Claire Joy Richardson of Dover, NH.

Private services in the spring will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be sent to The Derryfield School, 2108 River Road, Manchester, NH 03104.
