Condolence: My deepest condolences to Shane's family and friends. I am so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of such a cherished person. During this time of great loss, it is my hope that you can find some comfort from God's promise in the Bible found at Job 14:14&15- "If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands."
All of our dear loved ones asleep in death have that promised hope of living once again! Our Heavenly Father longs to make that call to bring Shane back to life. God never intended for any of us to suffer and die and he will fulfill his purpose of bringing mankind back to a perfect state where death will be no more. 1 Corinthians 15:26 says "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing."
We can look forward to that wonderful resurrection of those now asleep in death coming back to life here on earth but under perfect peaceful conditions where no one will ever die again. Instead we will all enjoy living forever! (Psalms 39:11&29)
I hope that can bring you a measure of comfort during this time of grief.
