Condolence: I am so sad to learn of Bill's passing. He amazed me with his talent, his dedication, his generosity of spirit, and his love for those around him - human and canine. I met Bill through the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, and our friendship began. We walked around NYC the spring after 9/11, visited the Manhattan Graphics Center, and shared stories of our lives and our dogs. I am so honored to have known him and I will miss him every day.

Condolence: My sincere condolences to Phebe and Joe. I'm so grateful that I was able to know Billy and his work, his sharp insights, and his ever-flowing wit for several years. I loved going to dinners that he and Joe prepared and that Phebe would preside over with all the pups in vociferous attendance and beautiful music wafting throughout the house. But I believe that my fondest memory of Billy will always be his smiling face with his embroidered 04841 cap perched above it. He loved Rockland as so many of us do and though I now live 3,000 miles away, I'll always remember Billy in the Rockland of my heart. Sincerely, Geri

Condolence: We are saddened by the loss of Bill and the great void it will leave in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. No son more devoted to a mother, no uncle more proud and loving , no brother more loved. We enjoyed many conversations over the years and we will miss his opinions and posts that were difficult to argue with because it was impossible verbally to do so - he was that good!! Our hearts are with Joyce , Joe , Hugh and family. He will be remembered always.
Sincerely and with our Love-
Michael and Karin Curcio

Condolence: I'm so sad to hear that Bill passed away. He was such a nice man. My mother in law lives next door to him. He was always so kind to my four year old son and would chat with us every time we saw him. The first time I met Bill was when I worked at Home Depot. He complimented my artwork on my apron and gave me his business card. He asked me to go see his studio and we talked a lot about art. He was very passionate about art. He was a very interesting man and had the cutest dogs. He will definitely be missed. We will miss seeing him.

Condolence: A week before he left us, I spoke to Bill and Joyce. We laughed, swore, solved global problems. He was so proud of his namesake, though adamant about scratching the Badger Tibbits part. As he always did, he gave my heart joy. What joy to call friend someone so talented but humble; so deep but funny; so prickly, but kind.
We are so sorry!

Condolence: Bill was one of the first to welcome myself and my housemate to the neighborhood. His warmth was instantly evident, as was his sharp intellect and sense of humor. I was amazed by his incredibly detailed artwork and grateful for some wonderful conversations that we had over coffee. He will be sorely missed.

Condolence: For hundreds of nights over the past 50 years Bill and I talked, laughted and settled the world's controversies at the Frog Hollow bar. Long into the night. We played with trains, participated in the birth of puppies and celebrated Christmas at midnight. Knowing that Bill was coming home from the City for the weekend with Joe was the week's high point.
His commitment, compassion and great love, especially for his mom and Joe,were unparalleled. I was very fortunate to have been witness to his genius, humanity and soul of this wonderful friend. My tears keep coming, not only for Billy, but for all of those who are grieving this devastating loss.
Joyce has alway had a special place in my life, my heart and prayers are with her at this moment of unfathonablew sadness. A bright light has been extinguished from the lives of all who loved Billy Ronalds.

Condolence: Bill was a great many things. He was a gifted arts educator, a superb artist and a extraordinary friend. I've had the privilege of knowing his good humor and camaraderie since I began teaching at St. John's University and knew--from the start--what a kind, empathetic and talented soul he was. I will miss him greatly. As a colleague, he was the best, but to those who knew him as professor, the guidance was even more profound. Bill's is a life that made a difference.

To all of Bill's relatives, I pass along my sincere condolences on your loss. I will keep Bill and you all in my thoughts and prayers.
