SKOWHEGAN - Frank Santo Capizzano passed away at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME on September 26, 2016 at 6:43 PM surrounded by family. He was born on April 7, 1969 in Norwich, CT to Frank J. Capizzano and Rosemarie Gaudette Capizzano.

Growing up he attended Plainfield High School and enjoyed boxing and playing football. He moved to Maine at sixteen, living on Vinalhaven. He worked as a young man laying concrete for his father.

As an adult he enjoyed plaing football with his nieces and nephews as well as the neighborhood kids. He loved the Grateful Dead, and always said "Jerry Garcia was the best" but really loved music in general. He enjoyed riding his dirt bikes and motorcycle and was an avid animal lover. He liked working with concrete and went on to work for Ferraiolo Construction for a couple years. He was also a huge Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching the game.

He is survived by his only sister Gina Capizzano and her fiance Adrian Turner Jr. of Rockland; his brothers Vincent Capizzano of FL, Robert Dodd of FL, Ronald Dodd and his wife Tracey Dodd of Rockland, Steven Dodd and his wife Helen Dodd of Thomaston, Ken MacDonald of Waldoboro, John MacDonald of Vinalhven; his wife Terry Capizzano of Cushing; his nieces and nephews Desiree Capizzano of Rockland, Adam Capizzano of Rockland, as well as Kyle, Nick, Steven, Sarah, Rebecca, Dylan, Jessie, Dakota, Cole, Jake, Justin, and several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Father and Mother Frank J. Capizzano and Rosemarie Gaudette Capizzano, and brother Richard Dodd.

Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland, Maine. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at www.gofundme.com/2r25xsa4.
