Obituary for David Arthur George

David Arthur George
WARREN – David A. George, 53, died unexpectedly, Monday, September 5, 2016 at his home.

Born in Rockland, October 17, 1962, he was the son of Fred and Dale Messer George. Educated locally, Dave was a 1981 graduate of Medomak Valley High School. Following graduation, Dave attended the University of Maine at Orono before transferring to Community College.

Always active, Dave loved to be outdoors. He took great joy in fishing, dirt bike riding, and four-wheeling. He was a talented mechanic, always working on his own vehicles and helping friends and neighbors with their vehicles. He also enjoyed working on cars at Wiscasset Speedway. Dave was known as a great conversationalist, and could talk to anyone he met, making friends everywhere he went.

He was civic minded and enjoyed several terms as a member of the Planning Board and Zoning Committee in Warren.
His number one priority in life was his children. He would do anything for them and they always knew how much they were loved. He will be sadly missed.
