Condolence From: Kate (Cameron) Scheuritzel
Condolence: Mike was a classmate at EO Smith. I still remember him distinctly in our school's production of "You Can't Take It with You." He was incredible in his role as Grandpa. I remember begging (unsuccessfully) for my parents to bring me to see the play a second night because Mike's performance was so hilariously perfect. To this day, no version of the play has compared to the version Mike's talent made me fall in love with. Deepest, deepest condolences to all who feel his loss.

Condolence From: Shirley Smith
Condolence: Mike was special to our family spending lots of time in our home with our daughter Arlana and their friends. When the piano started playing we knew Mike had arrived and singing of Mike and Arlana would soon begin. We have a recording of them singing "Here I Am Lord", my huband's favorite. John, my husband, was Mike's friend and Pastor in CT.. They had many long talks about numerous subjects. We enjoyed visiting Mike at Shenandoah and in Maine. When John passed away Mike came from NYC and was there for our family. He spoke at John's Memorial Service. Mike was a fun-filled, thoughtful, kind and caring friend. Many happy memories will remain for our family.
