Condolences

Condolence From: Bruce Christie
Condolence: To my friends in the Bilodeau family: I have very fond memories of your mother, having worked with her for so many years and as a teacher of many of you. She lived an incredibly full life, and I consider her a very dear friend. I wish we had not lost touch over the years. I will be unable to attend the service in Epping on February 13, as I have recently broken my ankle and am not getting around too well. You are all in my thoughts as are my memories of your mother.

We'll all miss you.

Condolence: Mrs. Bilodeau was my elementary school principal in Epping, the pianist for the theater group I grew up in, a friend and mentor to my mother, Rose, and one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I would not be the person I am today, if it wasn't for her steadfast refusal to give up on me from the time I first showed up in her little school, and I will also be grateful to her.

My deepest condolences to those she leaves behind. She will never be forgotten.

Condolence: I remember Mrs. Bilodeau as a kind-hearted woman who always had a hug or an ear to share. As my elementary school principal nearly 35 years ago - at the little old school house tucked away at the bottom of the hill - I think back of her caring ways. We had great assemblies outside the school where she'd lead us in the pledge, gave awards, told stories and sang songs. She took us on walks; and gave out erasable pens that wished you a happy birthday from your principal, Mrs. Bilodeau. I still have a pen or two. Although they don't work, the memories live on - as will she.
