ROCKLAND - John L. Hill, 89, husband of Vera VanTassel Hill, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at The Homestead in Owls Head, following an extended illness. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 10, 2015, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. The Reverend Lael Sorenson will officiate.
