Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Clyde Millay can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Tiffany Strong
Condolence: I met Clyde last winter when I worked for Camden National Bank in Union. He would wait for me to be free so I could wait on him and we could chat for a few minutes. I was drawn to his spark and his smile. In December we had lunch together at his house. I brought him a seafood basket and fries from Come Spring Cafe. And he made me a mock apple pie! It was delicious and he explained to me that the pies were popular during the Depression, when apples were scarce and expensive. He shared with me some stories about his time in World War II. I so enjoyed our visit and had intended to go see him this summer. I am thinking of his friends and family and wish I had known him longer. He was a special person.
