Condolences

Condolence From: Wes Currier
Condolence: It was August, 1958 in front of Loring Hall, Hingham, Ma. when I first met DeeDee. I had just pulled into a parking spot and there she was with a friend. I saw a special light in her. We talked and laughed, then and thereafter. We dated, passed "love" notes in History class and laughed some more. That light danced snd sparkled and brought joy to my heart throughout those early years. We all moved on and I last saw DeeDee several years later in her shop in Boston. Though a brief reunion, I could see that her light still shone. DeeDee has always filled a warm spot in my heart and memory and even now I see her light. Perhaps now dimmer in the world, it has not been extinguished. It will continue to dance and sparkle in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Condolence: Never having met Dianne, I asked Brenda to explain her relationship to us. I remember Harry and Bertie, I believe I met them, but I am not sure. It could be that I remember them from pictures. Tom and I and Kristy took a trip to Boston in 1976 and I remember meeting Judy, Zoe and Isaac (just a baby. I don't think we met Dianne. I extend my condolences to all the family. My prayers are with you all.

GOD’S BUCKET
~ Hafiz

If this world
Was not held in God’s bucket

How could an ocean stand upside down
On its head and never lose a drop?

If your life was not contained in God’s cup

How could you be so brave and laugh,
Dance in the face of death?

Hafiz,
There is a private chamber in the soul
That knows a great secret

Of which no tongue can speak.

Your existence, my dear, O love my dear,
Has been sealed and marked

“Too sacred,” “too sacred,” by the Beloved —
To ever end !

Indeed God
Has written a thousand promises
All over your heart

That say,
Life, life, life,
Is far too sacred to
Ever end.

Condolence From: Brenda and Emmett Stanicki
Condolence: Living in Ontario we did not get to see our American cousins often. One memorable visit was when you lived in Hingham. Dianne gave me a sweater that she no longer wanted. To me, a pre teen at the time, I thought it was so beautiful and proudly wore it to the envy of all my friends.
My prayers are with you Judy and Debbie and your families. We will all miss her.
With love
Brenda and Emmett
