Condolence: Darlene's bright smile brightened many a day for any of us who encountered her no matter where it might have been. I always enjoyed talking with her at the Grasshopper and keeping up with the exploits of her children, especially Kim and Travis, the two I came to know the best. Darlene's passing means the brightness of the world is just a bit dimmer but in our memories of her we can always rekindle that light. Farewell to one of the Earth's good people. May her memories be with her family and friends always. Sincerest regards to Don and the Borkowski family.

Condolence: I remember when Darlene first moved to the Rockland area and how happy she was with her home, her neighborhood and her new life. She came into school frequently when I had Briana in my class and was alway supportive and helpful. I don't think I ever saw her without a smile. I was sorry to hear that she was very ill. My sympathies to her family and especially to Briana, my former student. I'm so sorry this beautiful person has left us too soon.

Condolence:

To Darlene's family,

I never had the privilege of meeting any of you but I have wonderful memories of Darlene when she lived in Springville NY.
Many years ago I was a single and divorced mother with a young daughter.
Darlene and I met and instantly became friends. Before long she moved into our apartment and she would watch over my daughter while I worked. I'm not quite sure I would call it baby sitting as Darlene was only about 8 years older than my daughter!!!
I never knew what I would come home to but I knew it would always involve laughter, music and dancing!
I worked at a local family restaurant with Larry (Darlene's brother!) Darlene worked at the local knife factory and our 'set up' was a blessing for all of us when we needed it the most.

I was able to keep track of Darlene through Larry and I knew she was happily married with a beautiful family. I also was blessed to remarry a wonderful man 30 years ago. God blessed us both.

Many years have passed but the memories came flooding back over the last few days as my daughter and I shared some of those times we had spent with Darlene.

Needless to say we were stunned and saddened to hear of her passing.

Please accept our deepest sympathy as we share in your loss. We pray that today's tears may turn to happy memories and laughter in the days to come.

May God be with you and hold you all in His loving arms during this difficult time.

Looking at the picture of Darlene she remains as beautiful as we remember her.... both inside and out.

Peace, Anita Reisdorf Domes, Duane Domes
and daughter Andrea Reisdorf Hampton
